All the services we offer are private, so it will be only you and your companions in the vehicle. We can handle from 1 to 8 passengers with their luggage in the comfort of air conditioning.

TOUR GUADALAJARA CITY

A pleasant ride through the new and old residential districts, nice avenues, fountains and monuments of this beautiful city on our way to the Historical Center.
Historical Center: Visit to the interior of the City Hall, with a mural about the conquest of this land by the Spaniards, on to our Cathedral with a gorgeus interior, this building goes back to the XVI century. Later on visit the Gobernor´s Palace (our State Capital Building) XVIII century construction; inside of this palace we may admire an impressive mural painted by Orozco, a famous Mexican muralist, contemporary of Rivera and Siqueiros. We describe to you our personal interpretation of that mural. Our next visit is Degollado Theatre, the opera house (if open to visitors). On our leisure walk, we may see the 4 Plazas around our Cathedral, where you may take interesting pictures.
A walk across Plaza Tapatia, with fountains and monuments along 6 blocks, on our way to visit the Cabañas Istitute (closed on Monday) where we admire the arquitecture and the Master Piece of the Orozco Murals. The last part of our City Tour, takes us through Liberty Market. The largest in Latin America, with 3,000 stalls; selling everything you can imagine, like hand crafts and leather goods at low cost.

GUADALAJARA AND TLAQUEPAQUE TOUR

An extention to the City Tour is Tlaquepaque; a well kown place for its fine handcrafts the most important in the west of México. This place is approx. 30 minutes from downtown Guadalajara; upon arrival free time to see and shop the local hand crafts, found along a beautiful pedestrian mall, lined by XVIII and XIX century nice old houses along 4 city blocks converted into art galleries, museums, souvenir shops and restaurants.
You may find ceramics, blown glass, cut crystal, wrought iron, paper mache, embroideries, hand weaving, leather goods, jewlery, wood carvings, etc... At the end of the main mall is a place known as the Parian where the Mariachi bands stroll around the leather chairs and tables where patrons enjoy a beer or a drink, who occasionally hire a band to play arround their table. The Mariachi band has 8 to 10 musicians, so their cost per song is high.

TONALÁ AND TLAQUEPAQUE TOUR

This tour is mainly for shopping handcrafts such as ceramics, paper mache, blown glass, wrought iron, woodcarvings, paintings, etc. In addition, we tell you about history and important facts of these two places. Begining with Tonala town, located at the east side of Guadalajara City; famous because of its clay handcrafts and its “tianguis” (street market) every Thursday and Sunday from 9:00 to 17:00 hours.
At Tonala we start by visiting Antigua Santiago a blown glass factory (closed on Sunday) where the expert hands of local crafts men still following the traditional process for the making of this colorful handcraft. After that, you are able to see the finished product at the store´s display room at affordable prices.
Later on we continue visiting the paper Mache factory SERMEL (closed on Saturday & Sunday), worldwide famous name due to its excellent quality and creativity. We´ll be able to admire the hard and long manufacturing process of the different size pieces. After that, we continue visiting SERMEL´s Gallery, where you will admire and get the finish product at factory prices. After that, we continue visiting the downtown area, a place where you will find different kinds of handcrafts.
Later on we go to Tlaquepaque (see description above) where you will have your lunch at one of the local restaurants.

Chapala lake area is at about 60 minutes driving far from Guadalajara City; during the trip we provide you with the information of past and present facts of the places we will visit.
Once we get there, we enjoy the impressive view of the biggest natural lake in Mexico, surrounded by mountains, colorful little villages and towns with unique arts and crafts made by local people.
Chapala town is the first place where we stop. Here you will have free time for walking around the town. After that, we continue our drive through the neighborhoods of Chulavista, la Floresta and Ajijic village. Places with a large community of retirees from USA, Canada and a few French as well as Englishmen. With profusion of flowers and flowering trees all year round.
At Chula Vista, we shall see a number of beautiful mansions, the golf course at one side and at the opposite, panoramic view of Chapala Lake; after that we continue visiting Ajijic, a lovely place where you´ll have free time for walking and visiting the different hand craft shops and art galleries owned by local and international artist. Here we suggest lunch in a nice lake front restaurant with good food and beautiful garden. Once you finish your lunch, we continue on to Jocotepec town, later on we drive back to Guadalajara City.

TEQUILA DISTILLERIES AND OLD TOWN TOUR

This is a lovely ride through the fields planted with “Agave Azul Tequilana Weber”. Prime product to distill the real Tequila.
We visit the ranch to see how they plant, cultivate and harvest the Agave Plants, and later we visit the distillery to see the whole process from beginning to end; including the tasting of the various types of Tequila made here. There is an interesting shop for their products.
Free time for shopping on Main Street, or have lunch in a nice restaurant overlooking the plaza. Return trip to Guadalajara city. Some destilleries have an admission charge per person. Not included in cost.

Interesting driving through sugar cane and agave azul plantations until the arrival to Teuchitlan town. In order to get a better understanding of the Guachimontones archeological place, first we visit the site museum, with a complete information about this people.
This native culture was the oldest and the most important at the western part of Mexico with 30,000 residents developed 800 years BC before than Maya, Teotihucan and Azteca culture.
Later we visit the site where there are several circular structures, platforms a ball court, plus a panoramic view of the valley. After that, we suggest eating at a former hacienda where you will enjoy Mexican or international food.
